Suzuki Vitara Guide

Suzuki Vitara Guide

Date Posted: 10 November 2023

The new Suzuki Vitara is always ready for the next adventure. With its rugged SUV design and 4x4 capabilities, you have the freedom to go wherever you want in style. The open road awaits, adventure is just around the corner and the Vitara is ready when you are. With its bold design and efficient hybrid system, the Vitara is a beautiful car that means business.

Interior Design

Inside the Vitara is a refined world of high-quality materials, offering a space where you find every button, switch and dial in its natural place. There is a soft pad instrument panel, 4.2” multi-information colour LCD display, geometric pattern seats and smartphone linkage display audio to provide a more relaxing and easy going feel in the vehicle. The touchscreen infotainment system also comes equipped with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, providing seamless connectivity and access to navigation, music, apps, and more.

The Vitara also possesses several essential and helpful functions for everyday life, such as generous luggage space, a panoramic sunroof, automatic air conditioning and a front centre armrest – all of which all add to the ultimate driving experience. There’s also plenty of room for shopping bags, suitcases, and all of life's “don't leave home without it".

Exterior Design

The Vitara has an appearance beaming with strength and energy, bolstered by bold styling and authentic design. The essence of Suzuki’s design, such as the bold 5-element grille, strong front bumper finished off with stylish chrome accents bring a sleek, modern look to the Vitara. On the outside, it's more compact than your average SUV and with a lighter body, it's easy to drive around town. This includes sleek lines, a bolder front grille, and stylish LED headlights, all of which give the Vitara both a modern and confident look. The available two tone colour schemes and various customisation options also now allow you to express your individuality.

What Advanced Safety features can the Suzuki Vitara come with?

The Vitara is packed full of safety features; however, some examples include:

  • Dual Sensor Brake Support
  • Lane Departure Prevention
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Traffic Sign Recognition
  • Suzuki Safety Support
  • Weaving Alert

Dual Sensor Brake Support

With the Dual Sensor Brake Support System, the Vitara employs two sensors while in motion - namely a monocular camera and a laser sensor. These sensors identify potential collision risks with other vehicles or pedestrians ahead. In the event it then detects such a risk, the Vitara will respond in 1 of 3 ways depending on the circumstances.

These consist of:

  • Automatic braking, which applies a strong braking pressure automatically for you when it detects a collision is imminent
  • Brake Assist, which will automatically increase your braking force when you require it the most to avoid a collision
  • Warning, which alerts you with both an audio and visual warning

Lane Departure Prevention

With the Lane Departure Prevention System at speeds of 37 MPH and 100 MPH, the Vitara's lane departure warning system uses a monocular camera integrated into the windshield to identify your lane. When the system detects an impending lane departure without the driver using the turn signal, it automatically takes control of the steering via the electric power steering system, assisting the driver in returning the vehicle to its lane to prevent lane drift.

Lane Departure Warning

At speeds of 37 MPH or higher, the lane departure warning function will anticipate the path of the SUV and alert you through visual warnings on the display and indicator, as well as tactile warnings through the vibrating steering wheel.

Traffic Sign Recognition

With traffic sign recognition, the Vitara utilises a monocular camera to scan the road for traffic signs. Once it detects road signs such as speed limits or no passing zones, it displays them on the central screen to remind the driver of the signs they have passed. In case of detecting multiple signs, the system can display up to three signs simultaneously.

Suzuki Safety Support

The Suzuki Vitara is equipped with an innovative forward detection system from Suzuki that utilises both a monocular camera and a laser attached to the windshield. By combining the strengths of both devices, the system excels at detecting and recognizing various traffic elements such as pedestrians and lane markers, particularly at mid-to-long distances. The laser sensor is particularly effective in short-distance and low-light conditions, allowing for superior safety performance.

Weaving Alert

When it comes to the Weaving Alert, while driving at speeds of 37 MPH or higher, the weaving alert system evaluates the driving pattern and provides you with both audio and visual warnings if your SUV is veering off the road due to driver fatigue or other factors.

What Drive Modes does the new Vitara All Grip come with?

The new Suzuki Vitara comes with 4 drive modes. These include:

  • All Grip Auto Mode

This system gives priority to the front wheel drive system to achieve maximum fuel efficiency during normal driving conditions. However, if the system then detects a wheelspin, it will automatically switch to 4 wheel drive mode to give you extra traction.

  • All Grip Lock Mode

This mode engages permanent 4WD to help you drive out of deep snow or mud.

  • All Grip Snow Mode

The Snow Mode is your solution to cope with snowy, icy, rainy or muddy terrain by providing essential traction and stability, when these conditions require it.

  • All Grip Sport Mode

Sport Mode actively involves the 4-wheel drive system by analysing your accelerator inputs - which results in a more responsive driving experience - especially on those rural roads.

Does the Suzuki Vitara have a large interior/boot?

The Vitara has a boot space of around 375 litres with the rear seats up, which can allow for enough space to hold 7 suitcases alongside room for shopping and other essentials for the road.

Sherwoods Motor Group Limited is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Sherwoods Motor Group Limited to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
