TRIS: A Revolutionary Three-Wheeled Electric Vehicle for Urban Mobility

FIAT Professional has unveiled TRIS, its first-ever three-wheeled electric vehicle, signalling a major step forward in sustainable last-mile mobility. Designed at Italy’s Centro Stile and manufactured in Morocco, TRIS combines Italian design, electric power, and practical versatility in a compact, ultra-light commercial vehicle.

With a range of 56 miles and easy charging via a standard plug, TRIS is purpose-built for daily urban use. Its modular design is available in Chassis-Cabin, Flatbed, and Pick-Up versions, offering flexibility for a wide range of professional applications—from delivery and logistics to mobile services.

Initially launching in key Middle East and Africa markets, TRIS is part of FIAT Professional’s broader mission to provide accessible, zero-emissions mobility solutions. The European market is also under active consideration, reflecting the vehicle’s potential to address urban transportation challenges globally.

FIAT CEO Olivier Francois describes TRIS as “a breakthrough in how we think about urban mobility—radically simple, profoundly useful, and designed to empower small businesses and underserved communities.”

Compact yet capable, TRIS features a durable, corrosion-resistant chassis, a 540 kg payload capacity, and a spacious cargo bed that fits a standard Euro pallet. The ergonomic cabin includes modern tech and practical storage, all within a 3.17-meter frame that’s easy to manoeuvre in dense city streets.
