Peugeot 308 Trims and Colours

There are five trims to choose from in the new 308 range: Active Premium, Allure, Allure Premium, GT and GT Premium. Active Premium offers LED lighting, rear parking sensors and a digital display as standard. Allure builds on this with ambient lighting, tinted windows and additional driver conveniences. Allure Premium introduces advanced safety features such as Blind Spot Monitoring and Adaptive Cruise Control.

GT stands out with Matrix LED headlights, a black chequered grille, larger alloy wheels and Alcantara® interior touches. GT Premium takes luxury to the next level with features like massage seats, wireless charging, a 360-degree parking camera and a Focal® premium sound system. A range of eye-catching colours is available including Olivine Green, Elixir Red, Vertigo Blue and classic Pearlescent White.

Features of the New Peugeot 308

The Peugeot i-Cockpit® is central to the driving experience. A 10-inch digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system come as standard. From Allure upwards, i-Toggles® provide customisable shortcuts and voice control activated by saying “OK Peugeot” adds to the ease of use. Wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto are available from Allure Premium, along with features like wireless smartphone charging and connected 3D navigation.

Comfort has not been overlooked, with supportive seating, dual-zone climate control and premium materials throughout. GT and GT Premium trims elevate this further with heated and massaging front seats and a black headliner for a sportier feel.

Technology

Technology plays a key role in the 308’s appeal. Even the entry-level trims include a high-definition touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity and digital instrument panel. From Allure, drivers benefit from the i-Connect® infotainment system with TomTom® live navigation, customisable displays and voice control. Smartphone compatibility is seamless with wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto from Allure Premium upwards.

Other highlights include keyless entry, push-button start and front and rear parking sensors. GT Premium models also gain a 360-degree camera system for complete visibility when manoeuvring.

Peugeot 308 Engine Options

The new 308 offers petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid options. The 1.2L PureTech petrol engine produces 130 horsepower and is available across the range. It offers quick acceleration with a 0 to 62mph time of under 10 seconds and a top speed around 130 miles per hour. The 1.5L BlueHDi diesel, also with 130 horsepower, is perfect for those who regularly cover longer distances.

Plug-in hybrid models are available in two power outputs. The Hybrid 180 delivers a combined 180 horsepower while the Hybrid 225 increases this to 225 horsepower. Both offer an electric-only driving mode with a range of up to 37 miles on a full charge. Charging takes just under four hours with a 7kW wall box, or under two hours with the optional 7.4kW onboard charger.

Performance and Safety

Peugeot has equipped the 308 with a wide range of safety features. As standard, every model includes Lane Keeping Assist, automatic emergency braking, ISOFIX mountings, cruise control and driver attention alert. Higher trims add systems like Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go functionality. Matrix LED headlights, standard on GT and above, adapt automatically to traffic conditions to provide optimal visibility without dazzling oncoming drivers.
