Citroën Expands Spacetourer and Berlingo Powertrain Options

Citroën adds petrol and diesel options to SpaceTourer and Berlingo

Citroën has expanded the SpaceTourer and Berlingo line-ups with the addition of new petrol and diesel powertrains, giving customers greater flexibility to choose the model that best fits their lifestyle.

From autumn, the spacious SpaceTourer will be available with a latest-generation 180hp diesel engine, offered in both M and XL lengths with seating for up to nine passengers. Designed with families in mind, SpaceTourer combines generous interior space with clever versatility, including up to six Isofix points, modular seating and a vast boot of up to 3,100 litres. The line-up starts at £41,925 OTR MRRP, with trim levels ranging from PLUS (featuring a 10-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone mirroring and LED headlights) to MAX, which adds luxury touches such as leather seats, powered sliding doors and Citroën Connect Nav.

The practical Berlingo now gains both petrol and diesel engine options, alongside its popular electric variant. Customers can choose from a 110hp petrol engine in the M length or 100hp and 130hp diesel engines in both M and XL body styles, available with manual or automatic gearboxes. The versatile Berlingo starts from just £23,915 OTR MRRP, with PLUS trim including rear parking sensors and a 10-inch touchscreen, while MAX adds advanced comfort seats, a heated leather steering wheel and a 180° reversing camera.

Both models remain available with advanced electric powertrains. The ë-Berlingo offers up to 212 miles (WLTP) on a single charge, while the ë-SpaceTourer can achieve up to 215 miles. Rapid charging capability allows a 20–80% top-up in as little as 30 minutes (Berlingo) or 45 minutes (SpaceTourer).

A new bi-directional onboard charger with Vehicle-to-Load capability is now fitted to both electric versions. With the addition of an adapter kit, customers can plug in household or leisure appliances directly into the vehicle’s charging port – ideal for family trips, outdoor adventures or business needs.
