Built on the STLA Medium multi-energy platform, it accommodates various powertrains, including combustion, hybrid, and electric. With a focus on comfort and spaciousness, the C5 Aircross Concept is set to debut in 2025, catering to families seeking a practical and stylish vehicle.

Poissy, October 14, 2024 – Following the recent launch of the C3 Aircross, Citroën continues its SUV market expansion with the World Premiere of the C5 Aircross Concept. This concept embodies the brand's vision for its upcoming C-segment SUV, highlighting Citroën's dynamic evolution and commitment to delivering a characterful, accessible family vehicle.

Designed on Stellantis Group's STLA Medium platform, the C5 Aircross Concept exudes strength and personality with its sculpted form. Its aerodynamic features include generous volumes, a contained height of 1.66 m, and a length of 4.65 m—15 cm longer than the current model. This blend of height and length creates a sporty yet practical family car. The silhouette boasts a pronounced stance and flowing lines, enhancing its energetic presence without unnecessary embellishments.

  • A Bold SUV with Character Citroën's C5 Aircross Concept stands out in the crowded SUV market with its muscular, dense design. The confident front end incorporates the new logo, reflecting strength and fluidity. The dimensions convey a solid SUV look, with proportions that ensure both visual appeal and family-friendly spaciousness. The side profile features a dynamic edge line that contributes to its sleek silhouette while enhancing its road presence.

  • Innovative Light Signature At the front, the new three-point light signature emphasizes the vehicle's width, blending modernity and character. The rear design incorporates the Citroën Light Wing, where two lights appear to float, enhancing both style and aerodynamics.

  • Sculpted for Efficiency The C5 Aircross Concept prioritizes aerodynamics in its design. The streamlined body improves efficiency without sacrificing identity or interior space, potentially increasing electric range by an estimated 30 km compared to the current model. Key aerodynamic features include a lower bonnet, a sloping roof, and carefully designed rear elements that enhance airflow and reduce drag.

  • Introduction of the STLA Medium Platform Citroën's European range utilizes modern platforms tailored to various market segments. The C5 Aircross Concept introduces the STLA Medium platform, allowing for combustion, hybrid, and electric powertrains, as well as advanced driving aids and connectivity features. Its long wheelbase ensures generous space for passengers.

  • Enhanced Comfort and Connectivity The C5 Aircross Concept boasts impressive proportions and an innovative interior designed as a wellness space, providing a lounge-like atmosphere for occupants. This concept will be fully revealed in 2025, promising an exciting new entry in the C-segment SUV market.

Sherwoods Motor Group Limited is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Sherwoods Motor Group Limited to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
