Peugeot Introduces the New e-Rifter in Ongoing Electric Vehicle Expansion

Peugeot are proud to announce the New e-Rifter, the new multipurpose leisure vehicle which is taking electrification and efficiency to the next level. Continuing Peugeot’s goal of being the leading brand in the electric market by 2025, the new e-RIFTER joins the broadest all-electric vehicle range of any European manufacturer. As a key contributor to this goal, the new E-RIFTER represents a step forward in electrification, with a range of up to 199 miles, while retaining the qualities that have made this multipurpose leisure vehicle such a success, including a comfortable, spacious and modular passenger compartment, a high level of technology, and an attractive exterior design.

The New Peugeot e-Rifter features the brand’s new characteristics inside and out, combining the robust and stylish exterior with a comfortable and welcoming interior. The e-Rifter is a versatile vehicle that reflects the diversity and modernity of its customers while simultaneously providing optimum comfort and space. It features a completely updated front end, including a new radiator grille featuring the Peugeot shield, a modernised front bumper design, and new front headlights featuring the iconic three-claw light signature.  

Meanwhile, the New e-Rifter’s enhanced technology and adaptable interior deliver optimum safety and a great driving experience. It boasts an all-new ergonomic dashboard equipped with the i-Cockpit, which is available with a new 10-inch HD central touchscreen. The seats are upholstered with a new light grey fabric to create an inviting interior that’s adorned with numerous storage compartments. It also comes with a new compact, leather-covered heated steering wheel, with integrated controls to operate the multimedia system and driver assistance systems allowing the driver to focus on the driving experience. The new e-Rifter is fitted with a regenerative braking system with a choice of three different regeneration levels which can be selected using paddles located behind the steering wheel. Drivers can select from three driving modes: Eco, for optimum range, Power, for maximum performance, and Normal, for versatile use.

The e-Rifter features a central 10-inch HD touchscreen as standard that controls the multimedia system and the TomTom 3D connected navigation. It is also equipped with the ‘OK PEUGEOT’ intelligent voice assistant and can receive updates ‘over the air’. This interface makes it easy to control the latest generation of Peugeot i-Connect and Peugeot i-Connect Advanced infotainment systems. Smartphone connectivity comes via MirrorScreen technology that includes wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto, while a wireless smartphone charger is located on the centre console.
