PEUGEOT Unleashes Dual-Motor 325 E-3008 and E-5008

PEUGEOT has unveiled a third powertrain option for its all-electric E-3008 and E-5008 SUV models with the introduction of the Dual Motor 325. This new variant adds a second electric motor on the rear axle, delivering 325hp, 509Nm of torque, and all-wheel drive capability for enhanced performance and control.

Following a near doubling of electric vehicle sales in 2024, PEUGEOT continues to grow its EV offering—which now includes 12 fully electric models—to meet evolving driver demands in the UK. The Dual Motor 73kWh 325 joins the Electric 210 and Long Range Electric 230, rounding out a versatile powertrain line-up in the mid-size electric SUV segment.

Dual Motor Performance and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive

The Dual Motor versions of the E-3008 and E-5008 pair a 213hp front motor with an additional 112hp rear motor, enabling true all-wheel drive and a combined output of 325hp.

Performance highlights include:

• 0–62mph in 6.0 seconds (E-3008)

• 0–62mph in 6.5 seconds (E-5008)

• 50–75mph in just 3.8 seconds (E-3008)

Drivers can choose from four tailored drive modes:

• Normal Mode: Prioritises front-wheel drive for efficiency, with rear motor support as needed.

• 4WD Mode: Engages both motors for maximum grip on challenging surfaces.

• Sport Mode: 60/40 power split front-to-rear for enhanced dynamics and responsiveness.

• Eco Mode: Maximises efficiency with reduced power output and energy-saving systems.

Hill Assist Descent Control comes as standard, aiding traction and safety during steep descents.

The 73kWh lithium-ion battery delivers up to 303 miles of WLTP range for the E-3008 and up to 289 miles for the E-5008. Charging from 20% to 80% takes approximately 30 minutes using a DC fast charger, and both models come equipped with an 11kW three-phase onboard charger as standard.
