Four Citroën electric vans eligible for plug-in van grant following extension until 2027

The UK Government has confirmed the extension of the Plug-in Van and Truck Grant (PiVG) until 2027, a move that has been warmly welcomed by Citroën. The extension provides vital reassurance to businesses considering the switch to electric, and ensures that four of Citroën’s most popular vans remain eligible for valuable financial support.

The current value of the grant is £2,500 for vans under 2.5 tonnes and £5,000 for vans between 2.5 and 5 tonnes. Citroën’s comprehensive electric commercial vehicle line-up—comprising the New ë-C3 Van, ë-Berlingo Van, ë-Dispatch and ë-Relay—are all included in the scheme, making them an attractive choice for businesses of all sizes.

To make the transition to electric even easier, Citroën is also offering SMEs and sole traders a free home wallbox installation worth up to £1,050 when purchasing an eligible electric van. Available until the end of September, this initiative is designed to give small businesses and independent operators the confidence and convenience to charge at home without additional upfront costs.

The New ë-C3 Van offers up to 201 miles of range (WLTP combined) and provides generous load space, making it an affordable and practical solution for urban delivery drivers and locally based businesses. After the PiVG has been applied, the ë-C3 Van is available from just £19,937. The rest of the range provides even greater flexibility: the UK-built ë-Berlingo Van starts at £26,455, the versatile ë-Dispatch is priced from £36,210, and the spacious ë-Relay begins at £45,959.17 (all excluding VAT, after grant). Each model is available in a variety of sizes and trims, ensuring there is a Citroën electric van for every need.
