Swift Hybrid Wins Double at Scottish Car of the Year Awards

We are excited to announce that Suzuki has won two category awards for the Swift Hybrid at the Scottish Car of the Year ceremony held in Edinburgh this week by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers. The Swift was named Best Small Car of the Year and earned Best Eco Performance after undergoing extensive testing over the past year. The 14 members of the Association recently gathered to vote for the best new cars on the market.

Alisdair Suttie, President of the Association, commented on the Small Car Award: “The Suzuki Swift stands out in a fiercely competitive segment thanks to its impressive array of qualities, including a great driving experience, outstanding fuel efficiency, a long list of standard features, and excellent practicality. The judges were truly impressed by the latest Swift – it embodies everything this class should be.”

Regarding the Best Eco Performance Award, Alisdair Suttie added: “The judges considered more than just the numbers; they sought a winner that excelled as a daily car and didn’t demand much from its driver. The Suzuki Swift Mild Hybrid emerged as the clear choice. No matter how you use it, the Swift mild hybrid is economical, clean, and a pleasure to drive.”

The Swift Hybrid range is currently available with 0% PCP financing. For example, the Motion model with a manual transmission requires a deposit of £5,200, followed by 24 monthly payments of just £119 here at Sherwoods. A final payment is then due if the customer wishes to keep the car at the end of the agreement.
