The New Peugeot 5008

We are excited to present the all-new C-Segment SUV, the New 5008, a premium electric 7-seat SUV. Built on the cutting-edge BEV-by-Design STLA Medium platform, the New 5008 offers an exceptional driving experience, combining electric performance and sophistication in a sturdy yet dynamic design. It provides ample space and practicality, making it ideal for both driving enjoyment and family needs The New 5008 is set to launch in September.

The New 5008 boasts a robust yet dynamic SUV design, featuring a refined interior and the latest technology to provide a spacious and comfortable living space on the move, along with a superior driving experience. Its class-above design includes a front face with a body-coloured hot-stamping grille and new ultra-thin PIXEL LED headlights on the GT model. All versions are equipped with distinctive new 3-claw LED daytime running lights and innovative 'Aerotech' alloy wheel designs. Additional features include hidden weather strips, LED rear lights with a 3D clear glass blade design on the GT, and new 'PEUGEOT' and '5008' badging. Gloss black roof rails and a sharply sculpted SUV body style with assertive lines further enhance its striking appearance. The 5008 comes in six different colours: ingaro blue, cumulus grey, obsession blue, okenite white, titane grey and nera black.

The New 5008 offers a modern and refined living space with 7 seats as standard, featuring easy access to the third row and rear door window blinds for added convenience. It includes tri-zone climate control for personalized comfort and a 21-inch HD curved panoramic screen that integrates the instrument panel and touchscreen. The new compact steering wheel design features intuitive 'tactile click' controls, while configurable i-Toggles provide up to 10 customizable shortcuts. Eight-colour ambient lighting extends into the rear door panels, enhancing the atmosphere. The Peugeot i-CONNECT® Advanced system includes connected navigation and over-the-air map updates for seamless driving.

The New 5008 range consists of two trim levels: Allure and GT, with three powertrains on each trim. The vehicle offers a class-above driving experience, built on the BEV-by-design STLA Medium platform. It features a new electric powertrain with a 157kW (210hp) electric motor and a 73kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a 310-mile WLTP electric range and the capability to charge from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Additionally, a new plug-in hybrid powertrain delivers a combined 195hp (143kW) with a 7-speed electrified dual-clutch automatic transmission and a 21kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a 48-mile WLTP electric range. The 136hp self-charging 48V hybrid powertrain includes a 6-speed dual-clutch system, enabling zero-emission EV mode at low speeds, reducing CO2 emissions and improving fuel efficiency.

The electric powertrain comes with an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty on the lithium-ion battery, ensuring at least 70% of the original capacity. The E-5008 qualifies for the PEUGEOT Allure Care Warranty, which offers comprehensive coverage for the electric motor, charging system, powertrain, and electrical and mechanical components for up to 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The PEUGEOT Allure Care warranty is automatically activated for 2 years or 16,000 miles after each scheduled maintenance within the PEUGEOT approved network. The New 5008 is the second model in the PEUGEOT lineup to be built on the STLA Medium platform, which uses a 400-volt electric architecture and is designed with a unique battery pack to maximize usable energy stored between the wheels. Platform components like the cabin heating/cooling system, steering, braking assist, and propulsion are optimized to minimize energy consumption. These efforts, combined with the extensive use of lightweight and rigid materials, ensure that the New 5008 delivers best-in-class energy efficiency.
